Head of Digital – Newcastle £neg
Based in the centre of Newcastle our client is an award-winning agency with a good reputation for creative excellence and an outstanding track record. They are looking for a Head of Digital. You will be responsible for new business development, managing existing work and nurturing a strong working relationship with existing clients. You will be an enthusiastic digital marketer with the experience to head up a team.
You will maximise revenue by identifying and winning new sales with services such as digital strategy, website design and build, CMS, eCommerce, search, email, social media, mobile, video and analytics.
You must have proven experience of working within a digital agency. You must also have a good knowledge of digital marketing, including digital media campaigns, website design and development, analytics, search, integrated marketing campaigns, an understanding of digital project management and a passion for innovation.
You will be working closely with our MD, who is highly passionate and knows their stuff, to assist in building a truly integrated team - which will include a top digital offering.
A creative thinker, you will have an extensive digital marketing background and an in-depth understanding of social media and how to use various SM channels to amplify marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities include:
• Setting up the team (including recruiting the other members), which initially will be small, but will grow with the digital business.
• All new pitches for digital business.
• Managing digital campaigns, working with existing client service teams to ensure that the digital elements of a campaign run smoothly and delivering against client objectives.
• Preparing strategy and delivering presentations to clients.
• Work/liaise alongside the Digital Manager and development team to manage, plan, and deliver the projects on time and to specification.
• Working alongside the creative design team to explore new digital opportunities and ideas.
• Being nice.
